Synopsis

"Teaching you how to observe.": as one of the opening lines to this documentary, it perfectly encapsulates the uniqueness and aim of this short film that puts research under the microscope, observing its inner core, studying ideas in the making and scientists’ emotions, doubts, dreams, metaphors, correspondence and poetry. Speeding up images is both a cinematic process and an intrinsic research tool, and here it serves as a device to link the two worlds in this little masterpiece.
